Gold Arch delivered our first winner of the season at Wolverhampton on Monday. It was his first start of the season having been gelded over the winter and his first start over 1m4f. Stevie Donohoe gave him a great ride. From a poor draw, he managed to get a good position coming round the first bend. Gold Arch hit the front earlier in the straight, and although he still looked quite green, he managed to assert himself and win by a comfortable margin.
It was the first win of a treble on the day for Stevie Donohoe, and the win continued David Lanigan's excellent start to the seasons his strike rate currently stands at 50%.
We will hopefully have a great season to look forward to with Gold Arch.
